Caring for Lace and Chiffon
A few gentle habits that keep delicate headwear looking its best.
Lace, net and chiffon are light and delicate, so they last longest with gentle care.
Wash by hand in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing lace and stone work, and never wring — press the water out softly instead.
Gentle washing is the secret to delicate fabrics.
Dry in the shade, laid flat or hung loosely; direct sun can fade colour. If a chiffon scarf needs pressing, use a low heat.
Store lace headbands and caps flat or loosely rolled, so the shape and the trim stay as they were.
